La sortie de l’iPhone 14 Pro Max, du Max et de la série 14 Pro a ouvert un tout nouveau monde pour les utilisateurs d’Apple. Beaucoup de personnes ont été confuses par les différents noms, mais ont tout de même franchi le pas et acheté l’un de ces téléphones.
Le Max signifie « maximiser » votre expérience iPhone avec une capacité de stockage plus petite, tandis que la série 14 Pro fait référence au « X » marquant l’endroit où se cachent les trésors dans votre application appareil photo.

2. Recharge sans fil

Autre grand changement : la capacité du Max à se recharger sans fil. Cette fonction fonctionne avec de nombreux supports de recharge disponibles sur le marché, mais l’option officielle d’Apple est le AirPower charging pad.
Ce socle de recharge dispose d’une surface spéciale permettant une charge plus rapide et d’outils d’analyse intégrés. Le Max n’est pas le premier iPhone à proposer cette fonctionnalité : les iPhone Xs, Xs Max et série 14 Pro l’avaient déjà.

3. Contrôle par gestes

L’iPhone 14 Pro Max intègre une nouvelle fonction appelée Swipe, utilisant l’apprentissage automatique pour reconnaître vos gestes pendant l’utilisation du téléphone.
Elle peut reconnaître des actions comme le passage d’une application à une autre, le glissement de contenu entre deux applications, ou encore la capture d’écran par un mouvement du pouce.
Le geste Swipe peut être personnalisé pour un usage à une main et sera disponible sur les trois modèles, mais seul le Pro Max et la série 14 Pro offriront la personnalisation complète.

4. Résistance à l’eau

L’iPhone 7 fut le premier smartphone Apple certifié IP67 pour sa résistance à l’eau et à la poussière. Les modèles 8, 8 Plus, X et Xs ont conservé cette certification, mais la série 14 Pro et le Max avaient été retirés de cette liste.
Bonne nouvelle : l’iPhone 14 Pro Max bénéficie désormais de la certification IP68, identique à celle de la série 14 Pro. Cela signifie qu’il peut résister à une immersion jusqu’à 1,5 mètre pendant 30 minutes, sans dommage.

5. Assistant IA avec Siri

Siri est depuis longtemps l’assistant vocal d’Apple, mais les nouveaux modèles Max et série 14 Pro offrent encore plus de capacités grâce à la puce A13 Bionic et au Neural Engine amélioré.
Cette combinaison permet à l’IA de traiter les données 50 fois plus rapidement qu’avant.
Siri peut désormais accéder à plus d’informations, apprendre de nouvelles choses, et devenir encore plus utile. Vous pouvez lui dicter des messages, appeler des contacts, ou encore écrire grâce à la technologie voix-texte.

6. Détection du visage en photo

L’iPhone 14 Pro Max dispose d’une nouvelle fonctionnalité permettant de prendre une photo automatiquement lorsque vous regardez l’appareil photo.
Plus besoin d’appuyer sur le bouton : le téléphone reconnaît votre visage et déclenche la photo.
En utilisant le bouton de volume, il peut aussi capturer des rafales pour saisir plusieurs images en un instant — idéal pour les moments spontanés comme les événements sportifs ou les fêtes.

Animojis et réalité augmentée

Grâce à la caméra TrueDepth améliorée, l’iPhone 14 Pro Max améliore les Animojis, ces emojis animés qui reproduisent votre voix et vos expressions faciales.
La caméra suit désormais vos mouvements en temps réel, avec un objectif plus large pour inclure plus de personnes dans le cadre et profiter des nouvelles capacités AR (Réalité Augmentée).

Nouvelles couleurs

Des rumeurs évoquent également l’ajout d’une nouvelle couleur à la gamme. Le Max était disponible en noir, argent et or, tandis qu’un modèle blanc est apparu pour la série 14 Pro.
Rien n’est encore confirmé, mais il serait logique pour Apple d’ajouter de nouvelles teintes afin de rafraîchir sa gamme.

Processus d’impression 3D FDM

La technique d’impression 3D FDM est la plus économique et idéale pour imprimer des prototypes et des pièces mécaniques fonctionnelles. Elle utilise principalement du filament plastique. Les bobines de filament les plus courantes ont un diamètre de 1,75 mm ou 3 mm.

Il faut d’abord choisir le filament approprié et l’insérer dans l’imprimante. Ensuite, allumez le dispositif de chauffage. Une fois la température requise atteinte, le filament est acheminé vers la tête d’extrusion.

Les extrudeuses sont disponibles en différentes tailles. Le choix de l’extrudeuse dépend de l’application et du type de machine.

Le filament fondu est déposé couche par couche dans des zones prédéterminées grâce à ce mécanisme à 3 axes, où il refroidit et se solidifie. L’application du filament fondu est répétée jusqu’à ce que l’objet entier soit produit.

Procédé d’impression 3D SLA

Bien que beaucoup moins répandue que la génération FDM, la technologie SLA est la plus ancienne génération d’impression 3D. Elle repose principalement sur des résines liquides positives qui polymérisent (se solidifient) sous l’effet de la lumière UV. Les imprimantes 3D SLA possèdent une plateforme qui, une fois une couche solidifiée, crée un espace pour la suivante, laquelle adhère à la précédente. Comparées aux imprimantes FDM, les pièces imprimées sont beaucoup plus détaillées, mais le processus d’impression est plus long et le volume d’impression plus faible.

Ces imprimantes sont particulièrement adaptées à des secteurs comme la chirurgie esthétique ou le médical. Les pièces imprimées sont d’une finition quasi parfaite, d’une précision remarquable et les couches sont presque invisibles à l’œil nu, surtout comparées aux imprimantes FFF. Le principal inconvénient de cette technologie est la surface d’impression réduite et la toxicité des résines liquides. Il est impératif d’éviter tout contact avec la peau et d’inhaler les vapeurs de résine.
